The 1st Driven GO Team Arrives Safely Home!

11 12 2007

Our team spent our final two days in London seeing and experiencing a few more things around town including the tour of Westminster Abbey. The Abbey is where Kings and Queens are crowned and most royalty are married. Because England has a state church most of it’s national hero’s are memorialized here as well. Poets Corner is a famous area of this grand church, where most of the countries literary greats have memorial stones laid in the floor or on the walls. Here we are in front of the Abbey where you can see the modern day martyrs.

We enjoyed a high tea for lunch before we spent the afternoon recapping our time in London and Paris. As the Chinese parable says, “learn a new culture, gain a new soul.” We all expressed a desire to take all of these experiences and apply them to our lives going forward. Our appreciation for the missionaries that took the time to show us there cities and ministries was well stated and will bear fruit in all of our lives as we continue to pray and ask the God’s will be done.
